摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for reducing the danger of cutting into a passage or organ body during surgical procedure by inserting catheter (2) (18), having interiorly thereof an infrared radiator (4) employing detection system (20) that produces detectable signal indicative proximity probe to organ.
