摘要: Abstract Fast and accurate detection of aqueous mercury(II) ions is significant importance as it raises serious risks for human health the environment. Here, we report a photoelectrochemical determination with nickel oxyhydroxide-functionalized n-silicon photoanodes at zero working voltage. Based on catalysis effect Hg(II) photocurrent catechol probe, simple sensitive sensor was constructed in purified drinking waters (PW1, PW2 PW3). The photocurrents show good response after solution containing added to photoelectrochemically active solution. Under optimized conditions, increase proportional concentration, linear dynamic range observed from 10 nM 450 nM limits 5.4, 7.2 5.2 nM PW1, PW3, respectively. Our work suggests that two electrodes structures are promising low-cost, portable, real-time, heavy metal ion detectors.
