The art of governance of Dutch hospitals.

摘要: Hospitals in The Netherlands are governed by two boards: Board of Directors, the legal representative hospital, responsible for strategic and operational business activities; Supervisory Board, made up co-opted volunteers checking approving major decisions Directors. question which arises is whether system governance able to function appropriately guarantee enough concern about general health problems, moral ethical questions interest patients. This paper investigate successes shortfalls such a Dutch hospitals. results conclusions determine that although copied from corporate model, it does not well an environment where influence patients inhabitants region great importance shareholders do exist.
