摘要: The present contribution discusses the soil P status of central Amazonian upland soils, effects tree crops on availability and factors controlling cycling in land use systems with crops. Soil fertility management has to target prevalent deficiency by adequate fertilization, especially southern northern municipalities Amazonia where largest areas severe are found. fixation clay minerals is not a major obstacle for highly weathered soils Amazon due their low Al- Fe-oxide contents. Low total amounts mainly responsible availability. Tree found be suitable under low-P-input conditions. Their large return litterfall pruning improves Additionally, litter quality affects release Both aspects, quantity effects, strongly dependent species. Phosphorus sorption does seem reduced different types confirming earlier results that problem soils. In conclusion, biological approaches more important than physical improve Oxisols. With through microbial biomass between plant soil, higher added can maintained applications only need replenish exports harvest. additions will productivity also long-term uptake trees. This high importance regions poor infrastructure lack financial resources.
