摘要: Smad proteins mediate transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) signaling to regulate cell and differentiation. The SnoN oncoprotein was found interact with Smad2 Smad4 repress their abilities activate transcription through recruitment of the transcriptional corepressor N-CoR. Immediately after TGF-beta stimulation, is rapidly degraded by nuclear accumulation Smad3, allowing activation target genes. By 2 hours, induces a marked increase in expression, resulting termination Smad-mediated transactivation. Thus, maintains repressed state TGF-beta-responsive genes absence ligand participates negative feedback regulation signaling.
