摘要: Mycobacterium avium causes disease, principally tuberculosis in immunocompromised individuals. It is the most frequent cause of disseminated infections AIDS patients West. The pathogen also associated with disease animals, chiefly birds and livestock, may be isolated from environmental samples such as soil water. Analysis strains M. clinical, veterinary, sources for presence mycobacterial insertion sequences IS900 IS901 demonstrates specific association to animal pathogenic strains. In contrast, clinical all AIDS-derived examined so far lacked IS901. Significant differences plasmid contents serotypes without were found. We therefore suggest that divides into two clearly distinct subtypes differing host range, virulence, possession, serotyping antigens. By using DNA sequence data DNA, a set polymerase chain reactions developed detection differentiation these subtypes. Images
