摘要: This study analyses the effect of fragility in destination markets on firm export behavior and role size mediating adverse outcomes. The analysis is conducted using transaction data Kenyan exports to Africa over period 2004–2013. reveals that negatively affects a firm's decision enter given market, reducing Kenya's bilateral trade flows African countries. Larger firms are more resilient shocks less likely exit. These results robust alternative measures fragility, exclusion bordering countries East Community partner states. Our business (regulatory quality, government effectiveness, control corruption) dominates political (voice accountability, rule law, stability), although both effects negative significant.
