摘要: We investigated the behavior toward humans in 4-week-old pups and adult rabbits handled daily at different times around nursing visits during their 1st week of life. The timing handling significantly influenced its efficiency altering subsequent rabbits. Animals readily approached a human hand when tested weaning. Other pups, either 6, 12, or 18 hr after nursing, avoided hand. Our results show that there is narrow sensitive period for successful stimulation, because only those were within interval starting 15 min before ending 30 became tame. effect early proved to be long-lasting nonhandled as adults afraid showed behavioral elements avoidance, while ones behaved fearlessly open field. specific both animals avoidance stuffed fox. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
