摘要: Local area networks having a plurality of stations connected to transmission medium in daisy chain configuration at the nodes or endpoints experience difficulty detecting collisions between signals transmitted from two more using standard Manchester violation lost carrier collision detection techniques. The present invention eliminates problems this environment almost entirely by monitoring signal level coupled each station detect presence absence and generating output when being monitored exceeds predetermined threshold level.
