摘要: For 51 patients with rapid cycling affective disorder, clinical and family history data indicated that the illness was phenotypically genetically related to more typical forms of characterized by a bipolar course (100%), common in women (92%). Manic-depressive cycles were separate from menstrual cycles. At time onset cycling, 73% taking antidepressant drugs; continuation associated drug therapy 51% patients. Although most had been referred research ward because they considered be refractory treatment, 37% attained essentially complete remissions, usually during treatment lithium and/or monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
