摘要: Thermally sprayed coatings are inherently associated with residual stresses in the coatings. These have a noticeable effect on physical and mechanical properties of The high speed hole drilling method is widely used to measure stress. Due nature thermally coatings, application this for WC/Co has some limitations. In current study, WC-12Co were deposited using HVOF thermal spraying. electro discharge was developed through thickness stress WC-Co Morphological studies conducted optical microscopy scanning electron (SEM) evaluate powder coating characteristics. sin2ψ surface by means XRD. at EDM XRD approximately −32.54 MPa −40.6 respectively. experimental results reveal that curves not uniform thickness. It been found mean −126 MPa. Obtained good agreement reported values from literatures. confirms feasibility measurement
