[Survival after cutaneous metastasis: a study of 200 cases].

摘要: BACKGROUND Cutaneous metastatic disease is uncommon and the outcome after cutaneous metastasis has rarely been thoroughly studied. The objective of this work was to study survival diagnosis in a large series patients evaluate according type cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS This retrospective conducted out Laboratoire d'Histo-pathologie Cutanee Strasbourg. Between 1950 1996, 228 with were diagnosed on basis typical histopathology, confirmed by two dermatopathologists. We excluded lymphoma or leukaemia secondary skin involvement. Medical demographic data collected from hospital data, "Registre du Cancer Bas-Rhin". neoplasm, time primary cancer death (or at 12/31/1996) established 200 patients, 99 men 101 women mean age 62.4 +/- 13 years. found 64 cases breast carcinoma, 36 lung 31 melanoma 69 other cancers. Long term actuarial calculated using Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS median 6.5 months (mean 22.8 43.8 months). mortality rate p. 100 1 month, 48 6 64.5 12 months. Median neoplasm: carcinoma: 13.8 months, melanoma: 13.5 2.9 (36 cases). carcinoma worse than those (p < 10(-4)) 10(-4)). Survival cancers could not be compared because small size subgroups: non squamous cell head neck: 8.8 (5 cases), (12 oesophagus: 4.7 (2 colo-rectal cancer: 4.4 (9 pancreatic 3.3 stomach 1.2 (7 cases) liver gall bladder month (3 beyond 10 years observed 9 patients: 3 melanoma, 2 cancers, prostatic carcinomas, larynx carcinoma. CONCLUSION first which occurrence systematically analysed patients. It shows that half die within diagnosis. Those due have poorest prognosis.
