摘要: The equilibrium line altitude (ELA) of a glacier is said to be an important characteristic the and parameter representing it should included in inventory. However, there are few glaciers whose ELA has been directly measured furthermore ELAs appear highly variable from year comparison with their secular variations. In present paper, statistical analyses made mass balance time series for 33 glaciers. steady state estimated each its approximation terms simple and, within context inventory, easily orometric parameters tested. most cases, discrepancies only decametres.
