摘要: Lake-stream networks dominate the semi-arid, subarctic Precambrian shield. Such a network consists of number lake basin elements linked to each other by surface channels. To investigate processes causing seasonal severance flow connection in lake-stream system, chain lakes northern Canada was studied 2004. Water balance shows that rapid and substantial runoff from local slopes during snowmelt period led rise levels above their outlet elevations generate outflow. Continued summer evaporation caused draw down storage below outflow thresholds, represented elevations. Outflow ceased became disconnected. Summer rainfall semi-arid environment insufficient overcome deficit re-establish connectivity among all lakes. For drainage system as whole, streamflow interruption or continuity depends on linkage its sub-units. The principle fill spill governs generation between elements. This is applied conceptual model along lakes, taking account (1) antecedent individual (2) change calculated through water (3) thresholds be exceeded for outflows occur.
