摘要: Background The comparative effectiveness of antidepressant medication and cognitive-behaviour therapy for the acute treatment depression is contentious. Objective To compare outcomes medication, (CBT), combination two, in adult, depressed patients. Methods Sixteen electronic databases together with reference lists were searched randomised other clinical trials that compared CBT, antidepressants, or their combination. Results In comparison between CBT 8 studies met inclusion criteria. Five criteria second single therapy. comparison, effect sizes favoured over antidepressants a significant advantage on some outcome measures. Combined appeared more effective than antidepressants. However, combined did not emerge CBT. Conclusions Antidepressants may be considered efficacious patients nor can regarded as alone.
