摘要: Estimates of glacial-interglacial climate change in tropical Africa have varied widely. Results from a process-based vegetation model show how montane East shifts with changes both carbon dioxide concentration and climate. For the last glacial maximum, atmospheric alone could explain observed replacement forest by scrub biome. This result implies that estimates maximum cooling based on tree- line must be revised.
