摘要: Records of glacier fluctuations compiled by the World Glacier Monitoring Service can be used to derive an independent estimate global warming during last 100 years. different glaciers are made comparable a two-step scaling procedure: one allowing for differences in geometry, other climate sensitivity. The retreat years appears coherent over globe. On basis modeling sensitivity glaciers, observed explained linear trend 0.66 kelvin per century.
