摘要: Abstract Diwani Hill granulites occurring on the southern tip of South Delhi Terrane (SDT) Aravalli Mobile Belt (AMB), comprises rocks granulite facies and represent deeper level crust. The SDT represents an admixture charnockites, granites, calc-granulites hercynite-quartz-bearing pelitic granulites. symplectite corona textures recorded in from a part provides wide spectrum P-T sensors support petrological evolution. evolution these has been constrained through use THERMOCALC program, conventional thermobarometry, pseudosection modelling NCKFMASHTO model system using Perple_X software. unification three calculations, demonstrates that experienced peak pressure temperature at 6.7 kbar 750 °C, respectively. textural imprints, multistage reaction textures, pseudosections as well application multi-equilibrium calculation give evidence for decompressive history related to their exhumation. SHRIMP U-Pb chronological results yield ages between 780 680 Ma time metamorphic overprint, 1591 1216 Ma corresponding with detritus derived magmatic source Zircon reflect continental crust resulted Mesoproterozoic protolith igneous origin whereas sedimentary succession was deposited 1216 780 Ma. present study envisages basin would have remnant proto-Mozambique Ocean NW India which closed due subduction. This subduction metamorphosed sediments were subsequently, uplifted because thrust sheet tectonics during Neoproterozoic times.
