摘要: Abstract At the end of twentieth century, domestic resistance began to shape urban policy on governance, giving citizens new tools decide about development their cities. In Brussels, one such tool is a system neighbourhood contracts, which was introduced in 1994 after creation Brussels-Capital Region 1989. This paper describes two decades contracts and, despite some criticism, considers them be an important instrument governing Brussels. The article traces evolution and discusses whether these can adequate solution challenges facing smallest region Belgium.
