摘要: Landslide susceptibility zonation mapping is a fundamental procedure for geo-disaster management in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Recently, various landslide models have been introduced Nepal with diverse approaches of assessment. However, validation still problem. Additionally, the role predisposing causative parameters activity not well understood Himalaya. To address these issues activity, about 4,000 km2 area central was selected regional-scale assessment mapping. In total, 655 new landslides 9,229 old were identified study help satellite images, aerial photographs, field data available reports. The inventory “blind database” could explain particular rainfall event responsible landslide. But considering size landslide, blind reclassified into two databases: short-duration high-intensity rainfall-induced long-duration low-intensity inventory. These maps considered as proxy multiple event-based inventories. Similarly, all 9,884 parameters. For Himalaya, slope, slope aspect, geology road construction (anthropogenic cause) most affective activity. zonation, multivariate approach databases used logistic regression modelling, while relatively recent database validation. Two merged rectified to prepare final map its prediction rate found be more than 82 %. From this work, it concluded that rectification very appropriate reliable. results research contribute significant improvement preparation procedure,
