摘要: 1. This study evaluated photohydroionisation efficiency on the disinfection of new shavings used as substrate for litter in poultry industry, pre-inoculated with bacterial, fungal and viral agents.2. Each replicate consisted 250 g sterilised by autoclaving, challenged bacterial (Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, serovar Abony), (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) inoculum (Gumboro disease virus). The experiment six replicates at four times (0, 1, 5 or 10 min exposure) photohydroionisation. process was performed a bench device ultraviolet lamps. agents inoculated were analysed after process.3. counts enterobacteria total bacteria showed quadratic effect. In contrast, fungi viruses negative linear effect an increase time response plateau (LRP), minimum point 5.498 minutes contamination 0.666 CFU/g reduction 82.27% pre-established inoculum. Total had LRP 1.902 minutes 1.739 50.0% An found fungi, 7.931 minutes 3.380 CFU/g, 11.0% For viruses, there 5.012 minutes 0.000 titre per 100 g shavings, which reduced 100% inoculum.4. Photohydroionisation has partial potential microbiological control tool, complete occurred only whereas reductions these microorganisms observed.
