摘要: We analyze a simple model of endogenous growth in which individuals care about both consumption and their rank the distribution wealth. show that steady-growth rate economy increases with strength status-seeking motive initial equality wealth distribution. Contrary to basic growth, equilibrium is not necessarily smaller than social optimum, we identify circumstances under two coincide.
