摘要: This study investigated the inclusion of low-income community users by surveying digital information literacy, in term their attitudes toward electronic media and Internet-based reading. Two hundred thirty-eight public library from ethnic diverse communities participated this survey. Younger readers found reading online as easy print books, while older preferred media. Lower-income were able to access Internet mainly libraries reported slightly positively Reading resources residents poorer urban did not vary gender, contrary common sense that women outread men. The implications result are explored; for example, being unemployed may allow underrepresented minority supplemental time leisure suggests approaches iSchools graduates service communities, promote bridge divide society.
