摘要: There have been numerous studies on the adoption of sustainable construction; however, few attempted to analyze construction from perspective small contractors. The objectives this study are investigate major barriers that prevent contractors adopting and propose a group best solutions can overcome these barriers. To achieve goals, comprehensive literature review was conducted first. Then, data 30 Singapore-based were collected through questionnaire for analysis. Results reported “extra investment required,” “slow recovery investment,” “lack incentives,” “limited knowledge construction,” “tendency maintain current practices,” demands clients” top six hinder construction. also revealed three barrier categories, namely “financial barriers,” “management “knowledge more critical than large Lastly, five could help identified suggested. This contributes body by investigating in findings helpful industry practitioners as well, they enhance their understandings policy makers come up with effective policies tackle
