摘要: 1. Use of alcohol 110Ag established water-drinking 6-7 μl. g-1 hr-1 for three species marine Crustacea, but in iso-osmotic Metapenaeus bennettae some oral intake still occurred; anal uptake was constant and independent salinity. 2. Measurements Na+, Cl-, 22Na, 36Cl indicated that the anterior diverticula mid-gut, not gills, were salt excretory Metapenaeus. 3. Salt excreted into gut crabs Metapograpsus gracilipes Scylla serrata following an injected load. 4. Total efflux little affected by salinity change, load decreased cephalothorax, increased abdominal effluxes 22Na 36Cl. 5. It is concluded water excretion take place hypo-osmoregulating major does occur via gills.
