摘要: Can prevention models now common to medicine be extended psychotic disorders? Advances in early detection and intervention cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer have led substantial reductions morbidity mortality improved quality of life among individuals with these conditions (Adams et al. 2007; Berenson 2005; Parekh 2006; Peters 1996). The success programs is based on four primary factors: (1) they target disorders relatively high prevalence; (2) risk known greatest particular demographic groups, facilitating efficiency screening; (3) accurate objective assessment methods exist for detection; (4) an array interventions are available that scale invasiveness stage illness.
