摘要: The formation of the complex ions nitrogen N4+ and N3+ has been studied at pressures up to 0.1 torr using a differentially pumped mass spectrometer monoenergetic electron‐beam techniques. ion an appearance potential 15.0±0.1 eV, exhibits quadratic pressure dependence in threshold region, consistent with secondary reaction N2*+N2→N4++e. At electron energies greater than 17.5 cubic is observed, N2++2N2→N4++N2. reverse this shown lead early onset N2+ when sufficiently large extraction field used impart necessary kinetic energy ion. 21.1±0.1 eV low pressures, N2+(4Σu+)+N2→N3++N, proposed previously by Cermak Herman. higher deviates from due depopulation N2+(4Σu+) s...
