摘要: Abstract When considering solar based thermal energy input to an organic Rankine cycle (ORC), intermittent nature of the heat does not only adversely affect power output but also it may prevent ORC operate under steady state conditions. In order identify reliability and efficiency such systems, this paper presents a simplified transient modeling approach for operating variable input. The considers that response system variations is mainly dictated by evaporator. Consequently, overall assembled using dynamic models exchangers (evaporator condenser) static pump expander. addition, pressure drop within neglected. model compared benchmark numerical experimental data showing underlying assumptions are reasonable cases where varies in time. Furthermore, studied on another configuration mass flow rates both working fluid hot water water’s inlet temperature unit shown have direct influence system’s response.
