摘要: Concrete in tension exhibits strain softening, i.e., a negative slope of the stress-strain diagram (as shown Fig. 3.1), due to microcracking and localization deformation narrow band, where energy dissipation occurs. The behaviour material outside this band is still linear elastic. This phenomenon, observed experimentally by L’Hermite [1], Rusch Hilsdorf [2], Hughes Chapman [3], Evans Marathe [4], among others, must be taken into account order provide sood explanation material.
