摘要: The development of a novel sensor for the measurement bead size in tungsten inert gas (TIG) welds is described. A passive vision-based combines infrared imaging weld pool and selective optical filtering, both to reduce excessive arc glare improve contrast between heat affected zone (HAZ). interruption external illumination techniques, used by others, are not required. Image quality shown be comparable that obtained with superior methods. technique has been successfully applied pulsed continuous TIG welding stainless steel order maintain during run.
