摘要: Outer-shell electrons coherently driven by intense radiation can transfer energy in a direct intra-atomic process to inner-shell excitations. Provided that the effective momentum ..delta..q is sufficiently low (..delta..qowig10 MeV/u), evaluated limiting form closely resembling Bethe result for inelastic electron scattering from atoms.
