摘要: The effect of microscopic voids on the failure mechanism a ductile material is investigated by considering an elastic-plastic medium containing boubly periodic array circular cylindrical voids. For this voided under uniaxial or biaxial plane strain tension state stresses and deformations determined numerically. Bifurcation away from fundamental deformation analysed with special interest in repetitive pattern that represents inside shear band. Both bifurcation analysis interaction between details stress distribution around are fully accounted for. Comparison made band instabilities predicted continuum model porous medium. Based numerical results adjustment suggested for approximate yield condition dilatant, pressure sensitive plastic behaviour.
