Cluster-based resource allocation with adaptive CoMP in multi-cell MU-MIMO OFDMA system

摘要: In this paper, we investigate the problem of joint base station (BS) and user equipment (UE) clustering, subcarrier power allocation in multi-cell multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system with aim maximizing sum rate while minimizing number BSs to serve each UE. We propose a dynamic clustering adaptive coordinated multi-point (CoMP) algorithm (DCAC), form BS UE clusters which adapt channel state information (CSI) quality service (QoS) requirement. For specified cluster set, optimization is transformed into cluster-based cross-layer resource capacity. It solved by subgradient method for dual problem. Numerical results show that converges quickly proposed DCAC achieves significant improvement when compared fixed CoMP scheme.
