摘要: In the field of material characterization, use Digital Image Correlation (DIC) is coupled with an inverse methodology, such as Virtual Fields Method (VFM), getting increasing interest in recent years. That allows identifying properties by performing tests on specimens heterogeneous stress-strain fields. Respects to standard techniques, VFM consents reduce number required identify complex constitutive models. However, that methodology sensitive adopted experimental set-up. The specimen geometry and parameters used DIC settings can influence remarkably identification results. Therefore, a preliminary study necessary determine best set-up apply. To this purpose simulating procedure, which reproduces numerically whole measurement chain, was developed. simulator includes most uncertainties typically present measurements, moreover able look at different geometries. here optimize be elasto-plastic behavior isotropic materials.
