摘要: We develop the thermodynamic theory for decomposition of a ``coherent`` two-phase open system consisting an interstitial solid solution in equilibrium with gas reservoir solute atoms. It is shown that, contrary to what expected incoherent systems, phase rule inapplicable and ``plateau`` on pressure-composition isotherm does not correspond two coexisting phases. The coherency strain introduces unsurmountable macroscopic energy barrier between transforming phases, which prevents coexistence phases results reversible hysteresis isotherm. proposed applicable metal-hydrogen systems.
