摘要: In the European Intergroup Cooperative Ewing's Sarcoma Study (EICESS) 92, whole lung irradiation (WLI) was performed in patients with primary metastases. This retrospective analysis evaluates pulmonary function and outcome of exclusively Between 1990 1999, 99 were registered into EICESS-92-study trial metastases Ewing tumors. The multimodal treatment regimen included polychemotherapy local therapy to tumor. WLI a dose between 12–21 Gy. 70 treated WLI, 13 them received further boost their tumor thorax up cumulative 54 Pulmonary tests available for 37 (± boost). None, mild, moderate or severe complications seen 43%, 29%, 21% 7% without (median follow-up 25.2 months). Patients an additional radiation surgery showed slightly higher rates complications. Overall survival (OAS) trend towards better results (5-year-OAS: 0.61 vs. 0.49 no p = 0.36). These data indicate benefit acceptable toxicity presented collective patients. As long as there is randomized prospective analysis, present confirm indication
