摘要: Abstract Internal field-assisted Ag–O–Cs photocathode with sandwich-like structure was successfully fabricated by depositing a silver electrode on the surface of composite thin films that were pre-grown onto conductive glass substrate. Enhanced photoemission observed from when an internal assistant electric field applied to through designed structure. The total increase photoelectronic quantum yield corresponding 30 V bias about 15.7% while irradiated light wavelength 510 nm. Theoretical analysis indicates such enhanced can be attributed field-induced variations in energy-band films, including both decrease interfacial barrier between embedded Ag nanoparticles and CsxO (2≤x
