摘要: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect that maintaining tracheobronchial sputum at room temperature has on analysis of ciliary transport and cough, as well contact angle. METHODS: Hyaline was collected from 30 individuals without pulmonary diseases, purulent patients with bronchiectasis. The samples were analyzed immediately after collection again 24 h. RESULTS: After h temperature, presented an increase in cough-induced dislodgment (96 ± 50 vs. 118 61 mm) a decrease angle (32 6 27 degrees) (p < 0.05). For hyaline sputum, there no alterations parameters analyzed. CONCLUSION: can be stored for presenting or However, should not many hours, since might altered result.
