摘要: Multilayer thin films consisting of alternating iron and carbon layers were deposited from a pulsed cathodic arc with magnetic filter to remove macroparticles. The moment the was measured as function applied field for various repeat distances multilayer. ferromagnetic and, at one distance, showed very low coercivity small-area hysteresis loop. examined using cross-section transmission electron microscopy. For magnetically soft films, single crystallites found cross entire film thickness. may contribute properties by paramagnetic coupling spins known be present.
