摘要: Saudi Arabia is an arid country that lacks permanent water-bodies. relies on its oil resources to operate desalination plants supply potable water. Paradoxically, it has the third highest per capita fresh-water consumption in world, despite being one of world’s driest countries. Extensive agricultural programs almost depleted nonrenewable groundwater and deteriorated water quality. The rates used by urban population sector for producing crops appear be wasteful (MEWA 2018). Efforts have been made develop extensive but efficient transmission system. sector’s infrastructure outdated and, some areas, deteriorating. It estimated average 20% distributed remains unaccounted. Government streamlined regulatory regime through implementation a strategic policy. Through policy, looking at most ways produce regulate No can expected try every possible solution, Arabia, no single solution would adequate address this complex issue. However, important step bring behavior change society use economically wisely adopting conservation practices.
