摘要: Abstract Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence measurements were made for trace elements using synchrotron radiation from a dedicated electron storage ring at the Photon Factory in Japan. Monochromatization of excitation beam by crystal monochromator is effective improving signal to background ratio, while continuum attains an absolute detectability better than pg. Trace thin sample down 60 ppb are detected monochromatic when there no line interference. The experimental geometry optimal high ratio investigated experimentally. practical advantages selective particular element demonstrated; these include enhanced sensitivity, suppression effects matrix element, and removal overlapping peaks. higher order reflections residual tail part diffraction curve also discussed connection with quantitative analysis.
