摘要: Abstract Recently developed techniques for computing tricritical points using van der Waals-type equations of state are employed the investigation loci in quaternary systems. Tricritical these mixtures have one degree freedom and fixed by specifying mole fraction component system. End-points some lines determined setting amount to zero; this gives location a ternary point with zero degrees freedom. Other types terminate at multiphase critical end-points or extend infinite pressure. Investigation number systems has led identification several characteristic lines. The equilibrium behavior is examined order quantify phenomena occurring termination distinguished thus far analogous ordinary as classified Konynenburg Scott.
