摘要: Recently available model ensembles have created an unprecedented opportunity for exploring and narrowing uncertainty in one of climate’s benchmark indices, equilibrium climate sensitivity. A range novel approaches constraining the raw sensitivity estimates from these with observations has also been proposed, applied, explored a diversity contexts. Through subsequent analysis, increased understanding relative merits limitations methods gained their refinement optimal implementation continue to be actively studied debated hopes reducing science’s most persistent elusive measures.
