摘要: Observations show that the ratio of peroxypropionyl nitrate (PPN) to peroxyacetyl (PAN) increases a maximum in afternoon period at Boulder and Niwot Ridge. In air easterly flow reaching Ridge, average PPN/PAN ratios were near 15%, while westerly or more remote continental air, was much smaller averaged 4%. Relative PAN-mixing ratios, methyl (MN) less than 0.2% 0.9% night masses. The sum ambient n-propyl (NPN) 2-butyl (2BN) mixing also small, diurnal Ridge being about 2% ratio. contribution MN + PPN (NPN+2BN) total odd nitrogen budget most 4%, leaving 21-27% shortfall between individual measurements species (NO{sub y}) measurement.
