摘要: Llamas and alpacas are affected by a wide range of neurologic diseases, including listeriosis, polioencephalomalacia, encephalitis caused West Nile virus equine herpesvirus, meningeal worm. Cervical luxations subluxations appear to be more common in camelids than other species. Camelids that have otitis or discospondylitis may not present with clinical signs until the underlying pathology is severe. Meningitis brain abscesses an important complication failure passive transfer immunity crias. The cerebrospinal fluid tap especially useful for diagnosing worm ruling out diseases. CT MRI particularly when intracranial disease suspected spinal lesions show only subtle on plain radiography.
