摘要: This study aimed to compare xenogeneic dermal matrix (XDM) connective tissue graft (CTG) associated with coronally advanced flap (CAF) in treating Miller’s class I and II (RT1) multiple gingival recession a split-mouth randomized clinical trial. Fifteen patients bilateral recessions were selected. The patient’s side receiving each treatment was randomly allocated receive XDM or CTG. parameters measured at baseline 6 months of follow-up. At months, no significant difference the root coverage (RC) (95.28 ± 6.89% for CTG 92.68 7.35% XDM) keratinized (KT) gain (0.91 0.46 mm 0.74 0.39 observed between groups (p > 0.05). group presented higher complete (CRC) than (60% 33%, respectively) = 0.045). Multiple logistic regression indicated that 0.01) KT interaction 0.02) negatively interfered CRC. A 1-mm increase when using increases almost times chance achieving CRC, reached similar CRC probability receptor area least 2 KT. Both treatments effective recession; gain, GR reduction, RC obtained XDM, while promoted XDM.
