摘要: Abstract Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are accumulated in the male reproductive organs for a long time and cause several adverse effects there. Up to now, there is little of information cytotoxic cells. In this study, stable AgNPs with minimal silver ion (Ag+) dissolution below concentration inducing cytotoxicity cell medium were exposed human prostate carcinoma line 22Rv1. Moreover particle uptake androgen receptor (AR) transactivation evaluated. medium, exhibited stability an aqueous environment Ag+ release. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) analysis demonstrated into cells via endocytosis, quantitative Ag assay showed that was size-dependent majority retained form. To evaluate if presence can change androgenic potentials dihydrotestosterone (DHT, strong androgen), we conducted AR using transgenic 22Rv1-MMTV-Hyg found lowered DHT, which due decreased bioavailability DHT.
