摘要: Methods and systems for enabling streaming of segmented content from a delivery network to an adaptive client on the basis manifest file are described wherein said may comprise one or more segment identifiers. The method comprise: selecting at least identifier file, identifying that has not been requested by client; and, sending pre-announce information announcing in advance be client, comprising identifier, being further arranged triggering ensure availability upon receiving request.
