摘要: The concept of thresholds shows important implications for environmental and resource management. Here we derived potential landscape which indicated abrupt changes in water quality or the dividing points between exceeding failing to meet national surface standards a rapidly urbanizing city on Eastern Coast China. analysis was based regression models linking each seven variables six metrics this coupled land-water system. We found substantial accelerating urban sprawl at suburban areas 2000 2008, detected significant nonlinear relations pattern. This research demonstrated that simple modeling technique could provide insights support more-informed decision making land use, resilience
