摘要: Abstract As air travel is considered a relevant area of action to mitigate climate change, it important know its determinants. The present study examines socio-demographic, spatial and attitudinal predictors for private purposes. analyses are based on the Swiss Environmental Survey 2007 subsequent computation respondents' environmental impact, as well data. A lognormal hurdle model indicates that persons with higher concern less likely by if they still do, less. While political orientations do not affect whether person travels air, results indicate among those who fly, respondents voting Green Party cause lower emissions than opting other left or center parties. Furthermore, incomes associated more whereas living children travel. Airport access related in sense closer airports, particular large ones, correlated result robust alterations accessibility measure also upholds when population density controlled for.
